Theatre for Veterans proudly presents
STAGED READINGS by NEW AMERICAN PLAYWRIGHTS: SEASON 2
Produced by Propel New Works
“Theatre for Veterans began as a free playwriting class five years ago and has grown into a national community of talented writers meeting up bi-monthly to workshop their new plays. Our membership has a strong Hoosier showing, but current participants now represent every U.S. time zone (except Hawaii). These committed writers show up to work! This season’s selected plays run the gamut of heartbreak and hope, terror and humor, trauma and love. We have added a newly commissioned mini-musical to the line-up, and one of our featured writers has returned pulling double duty as the show’s accompanist. This is an inspirational group that always raises the bar for themselves while showing up to support each other. I am honored to share space with them. Welcome to Season 2!” - Angeline Larimer (workshop facilitator)
This season features short plays, musicals, and excerpts by playwrights Tyrone Colbert, Tracy Ferrone, Beulah Galvin, James Hettinger, Rachel Landsee, Roque Murray, Jason Murrey, Frederick Rallo, Sharla Stevens, and Robert Williger
