Sarah Seyfried
Sarah Seyfried is not related to star of the Mama Mia franchise, Amanda Seyfried, and is painfully aware of it every time she hears “Dancing Queen.” Originally from Bloomington, she’s now an Indianapolis-based writer, performer, researcher, educator, and red lipstick collector.
She studied vocal performance at Jacobs School of Music before completing her BA and MA programs in English at IU Indianapolis. Her creative and editorial work has been awarded by the Indiana Collegiate Press Association, and she has written for local publications like Indianapolis Monthly. She’s also been thrilled to perform onstage in productions of White Christmas, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Crucible, Bus Stop, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and less thrilled about those not mentioned.
Sarah has completed a series of one-act plays, comedy sketches, stand-up sets, and screenplays and is currently working on completing her first full-length stage play. In the meantime, you might find her at comedy events around Indy, where reviewers rave that she “isn’t completely embarrassing to watch.”
